Athletes and casual visitors alike can enjoy Highway A Sports Complex's training facilities. The grounds feature two 55-foot, fully enclosed batting cages with pitching machines that can hurl baseballs, softballs, or snowballs at speeds of 13–60 mph. While some visitors refine their batting fundamentals, the rest of their teammates can keep busy with fielding practice on the nearby diamond, which is meticulously maintained so that its chalk-lined infield—complete with bases—and sodded outfield stand ready for anyone looking to chase down a pop fly or lay down for a quick nap.
Beyond baseball and softball, Highway A Sports Complex also provides opportunities for golfers looking to improve their swing. The driving range features 33 artificial tees in addition to a grassy tee area in addition to a handful of targets including an abandoned car and a small boat. Additionally, the center features an 18-hole miniature golf course for visitors looking to pass the time or have some fun while practicing their putting.
