That staffer may even be founder Patti Navidi, a certified laser technician with more than a decade of experience eradicating unwanted hair. In addition to ridding bodies of unwanted fuzz, she and her employees also harness the power of light to rejuvenate skin via photofacials, as well as take on rosacea, age spots, and acne.

When it comes to hair, the laser systems pull double-duty—they heat up follicles to reduce unwanted stubble and scan the head with the aim of filling in bald spots.
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
There aren't a lot of hair removal options in Barre. Even so, I try to offer the most advanced treatments available. I stay up on changes in the field and offer comfortable, discrete service for all.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have always known that it is my calling to work with people. I love to help people feel better about themselves, and find this work incredible satisfying.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching peoples faces as, session-by-session, we are able to treat what they consider their "trouble spots." Unwanted hair is embarrassing, and it really weighs on the psyche. Helping people with that kind of stress is a gift.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Hair removal can be uncomfortable. Though I can't eliminate discomfort completely, I try hard to use a gentle touch and a lot of patience to get folks through sessions. A particularly anxious patient finished what I thought was a gruelling session, only to respond, "We're done ALREADY?!" Good stuff.
Electrolysis: even the word sounds scary. But at Kingston Electrolysis Centre, there’s really nothing to worry about. Before the trained technicians start permanently disposing of unwanted hair from the face and body, they perform a sample treatment for clients during a consultation. Clients can then decide if they want to proceed—which many of them do, as the treatments are generally no more painful than tweezing.
