For 60 years, Photos Unlimited's large network of experienced photographers—selected through a rigorous screening process—have been capturing the personalities of families, kids, and pets with their in-studio and outdoor photo shoots.
Photos Unlimited now captures on-location photo sessions, too, including snaps of engaged couples walking hand in hand or images of newly married couples performing the traditional cake toss. And its photographers can work with clients to create professional-looking advertisements and press releases for their businesses.
After photo sessions conclude, photographers print out high-resolution digital images, put them on CDs, or add them to Photos Unlimited's online and mobile platforms.
While Kays Photography owner Katelyn Dorrington always had a knack for the creative, she never dreamed she would one day grow up to become a professional photographer. In fact, her lifelong dream was to become a singer, until the birth of her son forever altered her artistic path. Moved by this momentous occasion, a passion for helping others immortalize the important moments in their lives was born within her, and she spent the next three years of her life studying and perfecting her craft and drawing a talented team to work beside her in her Lower Sackville studio.
Not surprisingly, newborn photography is one of Katelyn's specialties and she combines her artistic eye and motherly instincts to capture everything from a precious close-up of a perfect petite foot to a candid commemorative shot of baby's 200th nap. She also specializes in wedding packages, which include three to nine hours of event coverage, permanently documented in a high-resolution DVD of images, as well as engagement and maternity shoots, which may take place on-location, or inside her studio, which is equipped with countless props and backdrops.
Craig Beckta's portfolio showcases the work of a veteran shutterbug with professional-grade equipment—and a professorial mastery of his skills. In online videos, Craig gives customers a view from his side of the lens, walking them through various elements of production and postproduction work, such as using studio-calibre lights during an outdoor shoot or balancing the colour temperature of an image using Photoshop. Craig brings these skills to bear in every portrait session, resulting in timeless, mantle-ready images.
