I love love.
am passionate about people and telling their story.
I like to mix romance and simplicity and have a modern clean approach to my photography.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have always had a passion for photography.
I took classes in high school and college and finally, one day my creative side took over and I plunged in head first and decided that if I want to live the fullest life possible, I had to do what I love.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to capture memories for people.
I love that I get to meet a variety of people and I get to hear their stories.
am so lucky that I am able to do this for a
living and I just love every minute of it!
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
I really appreciate it when people come to me as their first ever professional photographer and they are so happy with the entire experience.
My favorite is when people say, "that was so fun!" and then they share their excitement with their friends and family!
Drawing upon 15 years of experience—including time spent as a photojournalist and an army reconnaissance photographer—Jonathan Heppner passed his photographic passion onto his pupil, Trina. Their love of pictures is only rivaled by their love of one another; nearly three years after marrying, the two joined forces to create the award-winning PS Photography & Video.
A finalist and runner-up for photography and videography, respectively, on a previous KING5 Best of Western Washington list, the duo has captured the happiest moments of brides and grooms at hundreds of weddings in western Washington and southern California. A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Jonathan can add extra coverage by filming everything from save the date videos and nuptials to grandma’s dirty-limerick-filled toast at the reception.
Maternity, family, and portrait photography fills the duo's other sessions, which they hold on-location at their favorite outdoor spots or locales preferred by their clients, or at their studio in Tacoma. The two also engage in their own very different specialties; Jonathan channels his love of animals during pet photography sessions, and Trina snaps sultry images of female clientele during boudoir shoots.

Q&A with Christiana Childers, Owner/Instructor
How is your approach different than that of other professionals in your field?
We teach photography using hands-on instruction in a small intimate group [that feels] more like a book club than a class room. We keep our class sizes around six students and teach at different wineries in Woodinville. Not only do you get hands-on photography instruction, but you get to taste great Washington wines while you learn.
What's one tip for first-time customers that will make them feel like regulars?
Relax and enjoy the experience. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Even if they are the same questions over and over. Cork & Click classes are about having fun and truly learning how to use your camera to catch that moment.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
Christiana, the instructor, has had a passion for photography for over 15 years. Initially learning photography was a challenge, and she wished there was a class like this when she was learning. Now that she is a professional photographer, she teaches photography the way she learned and loves to empower people to understand their camera so that they can capture [moments].
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Christiana has a passion for teaching photography. She has been teaching at the Wineries in Woodinville for over two years and has 100% positive feedback from customers. Christiana's approach to teaching is very relaxed with lessons and exercises that are easy to understand and can be used after the class to continue to learn and become a better photographer.
