Former professional basketball player Mike Robinson—a product of the Chicago Public School system who was drafted by the Utah Jazz and played professionally in Europe for eight years—created In the Paint Basketball to help youths develop as players. His development programs teach the fundamentals of the game, such as shooting and dribbling, but also connect kids to mentors and encourage them to discuss problems they may be having in school with peer pressure or homework.

My Gym children's fitness center, which currently has more than 325 international locations, began more than 31 years ago as a structured place for children to safely play, acquire new skills, and romp around. This dedication to imparting the benefits and fun of fitness still earns acclaim today: in 2014, My Gym was named the best children's fitness center by Entrepreneur magazine.
My Gym's popularity stems from its signature program, which helps children from 6 weeks through 11 years of age develop their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. This development unfolds in the centers' fun classes, which teach kids fundamental skills through music, dance, games, sports, and more. In addition to boosting physical attributes such as balance, coordination, and strength, these fun classes also teach kids important social abilities, as well as boosting their self-esteem.
Kids are often encouraged to use their imaginations. But Sky High Sports takes this idea to the next level by asking kids to imagine a world without gravity. The trampoline park empowers kids to do things they can't do on regular ground—turning somersaults high in the air, avoiding dodge balls by leaping over them, and even dunking on regulation-size basketball hoops. The best part is, the fun's not reserved just for kids. Adults are welcome to play as long as they're not satyrs since the hooves wreck havoc on the trampoline fabric.
