  • Swing Salon
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Swing Salon is focused on the community. Our instructors and DJs have been recognized across the US for their skill and passion as dancers. What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans? Come ready to learn. If you have leather or suede soled shoes, it will be easier to dance. Also, ask the instructors and other dancers to dance, we all want to see everyone enjoying themselves. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? We created Swing Salon as a way to reach out to people in the Providence area that want to learn and dance, but who have busy schedules and can not devote a month or two to a block of classes. Our classes are all drop-in friendly. What do you love most about your job? Most of the founders of Swing Salon started dancing almost 20 years ago, and we continue to do it because we love the music, the friendships that we've created, and inspiring others to develop a new passion.
