Melissa McNamara is a widely known and respected Pilates instructor, receiving best Pilates studio from the Chicago Reader in 2016. Since receiving her full Pilates certification at the STOTT PILATES International Head Office in Toronto, she has taught all across the United States as well as in Canada, South Korea, and New Zealand, and has been featured in Wellness Magazine and on CTV’s Breakfast Television. Her specialties range from helping with injuries to teaching body mind centering techniques to performers. She brings her vast expertise to her studio, Mind Art Core Pilates Performance, named the Best Pilates Studio by the Chicago Reader in 2014. Prior to her immersion in Pilates, Vaccaro taught dance for 20 years, also leading injury and surgery rehabilitation workouts. During intense group and private classes, Vaccaro emphasizes the mental and physical work that builds longer, leaner muscles and powerful cores ready to compete in international hula-hoop tournaments.
