The spa is located on the penthouse level of a 17-story. I was a little confused when I stepped on the elevator and saw buttons for only 16 floors but the lobby attendant explained that I could walk up a short flight of stairs from the 16th floor to the 17th. Once there, I breathed in the relaxed environment and sweeping city views. Then I enjoyed a therapeutic deep tissue massage. One last look at the city from the balcony and it was back to the bustling streets of SF.
