Even with more than 20 years of teaching experience behind her, Robin Bray continues to broaden her understanding of core-conditioning techniques and mind-body work. She brings her continually expanding knowledge to Fitness Barre, where she helps students of all ages and fitness levels develop stronger, leaner, and more toned bodies over time.
The boutique fitness studio embraces barre-style workouts, which combine elements of core-strengthening exercises, Pilates, yoga, orthopedic stretching, and isometric movements alongside a ballet barre to create a low-impact exercise regimen for the entire body. Over the course of 60 minutes, students will perform sequences of small, controlled movements followed by deep, sustained stretches. Instructors may incorporate light weights into the class and more advanced sessions intensify the challenge by proceeding at a more rigorous pace.
