Online Booking - Round of Golf at Fred Enke Golf Course

Fred Enke Golf Course was officially dedicated December 3, 1983. Enke offers golfers a different but interesting and challenging approach to golf course design. The major features of the course are its vast teeing areas, large greens, strategic bunkers and sand traps, and most important of all, its concept as a semi-arid, limited turf course. Grass is used only on the tees, ball landing area, and greens, with undisturbed native plants comprising the remainder of the landscaping. Golfers have the option of four teeing areas. Respectively, they measure 6,800, 6,400, 5,800 and 5,000 yards. Because of its rather hilly terrain, golf carts are recommended.

Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings. Along the way, its diverse 6,785-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun! As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe knew they wanted to work within the land and honor it’s natural gifts and wonders when it came to designing a golf course. They hired fellow native american, Notah Begay, a Navajo and Pueblo who has made his name both as a player on the PGA Tour, a commentator on NBC television and The Golf Channel, and as a noted golf course designer, to help carve the world from the high sonoran desert just south of the resort. Sewailo, meaning "flower world" in the Pascua Yaqui language, blends the native landscape with picturesque lakes and streams. This challenging course measures 7,400 yards from the championship tees, with 5 different tee boxes on each hole to allow for players of all abilities.

Online Booking - Round of Golf at El Conquistador - Cañada Course

Make sure to bring your camera when you visit the Cañada Course, which is situated across the street from the clubhouse and boasts stunning mountain views from all holes. Play through saguaro capped hillsides surrounded by natural desert terrain, and enjoy manicured fairways and spectacular views of the Catalina Mountains and desert wildlife. The 183 yard 8th hole overlooks the city, and was voted the toughest par 3 in Tucson. It is bordered by desert on both the right and left, and the green is guarded by a large bunker in front. Everyone is happy with a par 3 here! The tenth hole kicks your back nine off with a bang. The 453 yard par 4 has a desert wash down the entire right hand side and some precisely placed mesquite trees on the left requiring golfers to hit a drive that is both long and straight. From the fairway, you still have a long iron to a narrow elevated green. The 533 yard 16th hole is a true risk/reward par 5. If you’re feeling strong, why not attempt to carry the wash that cuts across the fairway 260 yards from the tee. If you navigate the drive, the green is reachable, but requires a carry over a large pond. Birdies or double bogies are in play here.
