The instructors at Bikram Yoga Delta's studio help students boost strength, stamina and flexibility by leading them through Bikram Choudhury's therapeutic 26 asanas and two specialized breathing exercises. Each dedicated teacher believes in the healing benefits of Bikram technique — for instance, Sunshine Zhang found that the technique alleviated her sciatic nerve flare-ups, and director Mak Pahar credits it with his recovery from injuries sustained in hockey games and wrestling matches with his doppelganger.
