The coaches at Gym Spot have trained several award-winning state and regional gymnasts, as well as recreational gymnasts. However, they also train babies. Their curriculum covers classes for children as young as 12 months, as they believe that a gymnastics education develops universal life skills, not just the ability to win medals. Their preschool sessions allow toddlers to work with their parents or on their own, depending on age, as they practice hand-eye coordination and cooperation.
As for children in 1st through 8th grade, they participate in activities that align with the USA Gymnastics program, including tumbling, vaulting, balance beam, and bars. Students who hope to compete, meanwhile, work on graduating each successive USAG level.
At Ballistic Fighting Methods, parents and teachers train alongside law-enforcement agents as they learn Bruce Lee’s personal martial-arts system, jeet kune do. Adults learn practical, real-world self-defense skills, and antibullying seminars teach conflict resolution and martial arts to children. Instructors build cardio-kickboxing classes around real boxing and kickboxing techniques, so students learn how to harness a fierce right cross while simultaneously sculpting and shaping a stronger body.

Rush Performance: Personal Training Studio's certified trainers take positive attitudes and community support so seriously that if you complain during your trial of the Team Rush training program and bring any negativity, you won't be able to join Team Rush. And that would mean not torching hundreds of calories and toning up during strength, cardio, and sports conditioning sessions and high-intensity interval circuits.
Even the personal training requires supporting your fellow exercisers as it usually involves small groups of two to four working out together and forming a human pyramid to place any junk food out of reach. The trainers often use the FitRanX fitness-testing system to determine how fit a person is before they start Rush's programs and to monitor their progress throughout.
At Lionize Training Center, Johan Haglund, Mike Nagy, and their trainers fulfill a long-held passion to share deep-rooted fitness knowledge with others, and seek to incorporate Pilates, conditioning, kickboxing, wrestling, and circuit training into their classes. Using personalized plans, they can help clients forge healthy lifestyles.
