Afternoon tea ended up being such a nice outing for me and a friend...made that much better by utilizing Groupon! The location was easily accessible in Midtown, located a short distance from the parking garage. The store has seating for small and large groups as well as outdoor seating, and reservations are needed as items for tea are prepared in advance (side note ..if you make reservations, please keep them!). The tea was so good!! I had hot Earl Grey Lavender tea, and an iced Blackberry Royale...both of which were delicious and I would happily have again!
Hot tea came in small, self poured tea pots which supplied about 3-4 cups of tea. Finger sandwiches were flavorful and included traditional cucumber as well as a tarragon chicken salad and egg salad. There were scones, cream, and jam, and a large variety of sweet treats as well which were amazing!! I enjoyed each item, some of which had to come home with me because it was a good amount of food. At reservation, staff was helpful in asking about any allergies in your group, and during tea, everyone was welcoming, gracious, and helpful without being overbearing. We even got some of their beautiful chocolates when we left (though I haven't tried them just yet). Highly recommend this lovely little shop and cannot wait to visit again! ☺️
