About Malibu Jack's Surf Grill

Jack of Malibu Jack's Surf Grill has always loved the beach. He grew up in the surf—swimming, fishing, sailing—and moved away from it only to go to school. His adult life sent him travelling for work, a time when he sought out the beaches of the world and sampled the diverse foods of the various areas he visited. From these experiences he was able to pull together a menu that features beachy foods from various cuisines, such as caribbean jerk chicken and Maine diver scallops. The Augusta location of Malibu Jack’s Surf Grill boasts six big-screen TVs, which broadcast NFL games in the fall and a video feed of Poseidon scraping kelp off his party boat the rest of the year.

We went for lunch time, the place was empty , the service was good but I found a big hair in my glass and the waiter acted like that was nothing, probably something normal for the waiter I won't recomend this place to eat

Our first server seemed stressed, indifferent and was not pleasant. Our second server was like sunshine. She greatly enhanced the rest of our visit. We give the restaurant an 8 OUT OF 10 based on our first visit.

The waitress was great! She made gave me great suggestions on what to get and described those selections in detail which I appreciated very much. Many times I go out and do not get that much information from anyone. I like it when the wait staff really knows the menu and can really explain it. I will definitely go back. Without the Groupon I would have never known it was there.
