This business is a great service to the community of science across the city, state, and world. They have educational programs, they have collected thousands of plants for posterity and research in future times; their plant holdings date back hundreds of years; they fund rainforest research; they hire the best scientists available; they publish new discoveries; they support the local community with a farmer's market and plant sales; they created a building that reflects their entire mission by using plants, natural materials for building, and green techniques. What more could you want in a museum of plant life? I took students to Botany classes there when I was still teaching, and I LOVE the place myself!

The facility is a great teaching venue on how to preserve Texas nature.
