Absolutely NEVER recommend Ocean Sands or Groupon for using this site. The Groupon Deal was $99 for a 4 week scuba class yet when redeeming the coupon, it turns out that Ocean Sands offers the classes for FREE, but then charges you $74.15 for the books before you can even take the class. In addition Ocean Sands will not allow you to use your own equipment unless it is purchased from them. This is a huge rip-off because anyone wanting to learn if scuba diving is even agreeable to them, must make a huge investment prior to the 1st class. And the Groupon deal ends up paying $99 for a class that is offered for FREE.

Groupon was misleading, as it appeared you got everything you needed for the classes. In reality you still had to purchase books, which were $69.99 plus tax. I found it misleading as this wasn't advertised as part of the Groupon offer.
