Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

During the Smoke on the Harbor BBQ Throwdown, barbecue masters from across the state gather at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina to compete for grand champion in five categories: chicken, wings, pork, pork ribs, and beef brisket. Live music by The Piedmont Boys, a kids' center, and cooking demonstrations accompany the competition, and patrons can wander between booths, sampling chicken wings and pork butts as they go. The two-day competition also sponsors a food drive benefiting the Lowcountry Food Bank.
