The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is a 12.4-acre family support, education, recreation, and cultural arts center centrally located in the heart of San Diego—made possible by a generous gift by the late philanthropist Mrs. Joan Kroc.

The Kroc Ice Arena provides a great environment for the kids. Open skate has just the right amount of attendees - my son always finds new friends to hang with, and it's not too crowded.

The facility is a beautiful gift to the San Diego area and it runs very well; it was clean and well-staffed and architecturally beautiful. We skated there for two hours on one occasion and did not wait for anything despite the crowd; Lockers were plentiful, rental skates were clean and sharp. A cool spot!
