At Gemini Dental, oral care is a family affair: the sons of a prominent Peruvian dentist in Lima, brothers Luis and Jorge Velis opened their own clinic after graduating together from the University of Florida in 1998, helping them stay as close to each other as two front teeth. Dedicated to keeping their skills sharp, the brothers and their staff undergo continuing education. It allows them hone their skills with such smile-improving procedures as affixing Invisalign braces, performing virtual imaging, and teaching the hygienically correct way to pull back lips and pretend to be in a wind tunnel. Besides regular dental care, the six staff doctors render such advanced services as low-radiation digital X-rays and single-visit, ceramic crowns.
