Though they wield their scissors, brushes, and facial scrubs as effectively as anyone, the beauticians share an even more important skill: they know how to strike a perfect balance between their own input and their clients’ individual preferences.

Skilled stylists utilize relaxers and Nioxin hair-strengthening treatments to reinvent 'dos, and aestheticians keep waxing treatments thankfully brief—full Brazilians clock in at an average of only 15 minutes. But they take their time administering 1 of 15 facials, allowing clients to relax under specialty masks infused with seaweed and nourishing minerals. The spa's new collection of aromatherapy scents—which includes champagne and rose, wild honey, and grandpa—soothes the senses during massages, scrubs, and mani-pedis.
