Vegan chef Jenny Ross leads each two-hour cooking class in the kitchen of her vegan restaurant, 118 Degrees. Up to 50 students learn as Jenny prepares a 3-course meal on a particular theme, such as fresh French foods or farmer's market meals. Sessions are held from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. every first Tuesday and third Sunday of every month. The class includes all recipe materials and a book; an optional wine pairing is available for an additional $20 fee.

Ringmastered by raw-foods guru Jenny Ross, 118 Degrees is a wellness-focused chain of vegan restaurants serving living cuisine prepared at 118 degrees or lower to lock in essential nutrients. The menu, populated with Italian-, Thai-, and Latin-inspired dishes, labels all nut-free items and dishes made with kamut, a high-protein, low-gluten grain. Each cheese on the menu consists solely of fresh herbs blended with sprouted nuts and seeds, allowing milk to be saved for donations to chocolate factories and preschool job fairs.
