Lunch buffet Mon-Fri 10-2 is $8 + change. The Sun brunch buffet 10-3:00 sounds great--$15 includes made-to-order omelets and a ton of other selections. We ordered off the regular menu as we went on a Monday after 2:00. Most "standard" Mexican meals (incl rice and beans) are approx. $10-10.50. Ours (burrito and enchiladas) were tasty. They were very chintzy w/condiments, though--both the salsa that came w/the complimentary chips and the additional, hotter, one I asked for were in tiny dishes. The guac and sour cream that accompanied our dishes (actually the enchiladas only came w/s.c.) were in even SMALLER, tiny little plastic shot glasses. I like a decent amount of sauce/salsa (and would prefer to not have to pay extra for it), so that was disappointing.

Egg-battered chilies rellenos, steak simmered in spicy sauce & mole-slathered tortillas served with imported beer & homemade horchata

Spicy food is a great way to separate the men from the boys, the women from the girls, and the girls from the boys if they get too rowdy at coed canoe camp. Choose sides with this Groupon.

About Azteca

Recognized as one of Milwaukee's best Mexican eateries by WISN’s A-List, The Azteca Restaurant upholds its title by simmering meats and seafood in homemade chili sauces and blanketing tender tortillas in melted cheese. Most of the menu's bean- and rice-heaped platters come with sides of from-scratch guacamole, which chefs perk up with tomatoes, cilantro, and a single cactus tear. Within the restaurant’s vibrant adobe-colored exterior, desert murals span the walls and stimulate diners’ thirsts, which can be quenched by seven flavors of fruity margaritas, Mexican beers, and creamy homemade horchata.
