Big Bear Ziplines
More than 4,000 feet of ziplines form a high-flying network across a 50-acre plot of woods and hay fields at Big Bear Ziplines. Per their name, the outdoor adventure company features two onsite bears. The bears are not actual carnivorous animals; rather, they are Little Bear and Big Bear, two of the course’s eight ziplines. Little Bear hoists riders a mere 10 feet off the ground, introducing gliders to the concept of ziplining; Big Bear, meanwhile, soars up to 60 feet off the ground, and serves as the finale. Along the way, riders glide from a zipline modeled after Tarzan’s vine and experience the optical illusion of uphill ziplining, rather than the less popular illusion that the zipline is used dental floss.
