Chile Pies (Sweet & Savory)

Native to New Mexico, the green chile is packed with vitamin C and produces an endorphin high with each bite, so it's no wonder that it's the starring ingredient at Chile Pies (Sweet & Savory). The all-purpose veggie makes its journey from Bueno Foods, a half-century old food company that's also native to the state, directly to Chile Pies' made-from-scratch dishes. It then casts its capsaicin spell on sweet dishes, like the house specialty green chile apple pie, and savory plates, like veggie green chile stew. Red chiles also make their way into a variety of sweet and savory pies, both handheld and plated, as well as sandwiches, salads, and house-made drinks.

We opted for the strawberry rhubarb pie with lemon ginger snap ice cream. Wow! Explosion of flavor upon my taste buds!

  • “There were so many great choices. I will deffinately be back to get the green chile pork hand pie and I want to try the carne asada pot pie. ”
