Choose Between Two Options

 • $199 for a complete academic and confined-water training course with four equipment rentals (a $520 value)
 • $99 for an advanced open-water scuba class (a $195 value)

The four-week confined-water training course (a $300 value) is designed for beginners and includes all materials needed for the classroom sessions along with four dives in confined pools at least 12 feet deep. Equipment is included (a $55 value per session), but students must provide their own masks, fins, and snorkels, which are available at a discount through Columbus Scuba. The course does not include the four open-water dives needed for open-water diving certification (available for an additional $75). The advanced open-water scuba class is designed to build upon skills learned during PADI open-water courses, and it will teach students how to dive deeper and explore underwater at night. The schedule for both courses is viewable at the bottom of the homepage.

Columbus Scuba

Under the choppy surface of Ohio's quarries and waterways, the Columbus Scuba team guides students into the world of underwater exploration with specialized training courses. In order to prepare students for diving situations and encounters with bullies in schools of minnows, the team also holds classroom sessions, including PADI open-water certification. In addition to training students, Columbus Scuba dedicates itself to the diving community by operating the Mid-Ohio Divers club, through which they organize barbecues, camping trips, and group dives in far-off reefs and caves.
