A professional boxer can float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, and, when in danger, curl up like a roly-poly bug. Learn not to punch like a ladybug with today's Groupon: for $33, you get three boxing classes at Executive Boxing Chicago (a $75 value).

At Executive Boxing, former professionals teach a full schedule of group classes to men and women of all skill levels. The 45-minute classes start students off with a jump-rope warm-up to condition the body and improve agility. Fighters are then free to unleash their spirit kangaroos by practicing jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts on a heavy bag. Fist thrusters can also improve their hand-eye coordination on a double-end punch pillow. Circuit training, which includes abdominal work and stair climbs, provides the icing on the fibrous muscle cake, helping boxers build strength and endurance from their heads to their ultra-toned toes.

Stationary cardio equipment and punching apparatuses surround the gym's center sparring ring, and wall-spanning windows and gleaming hardwood floors make training in the space feel like a far cry from students’ days of doing jumping jacks atop cars inside cramped garages. Locker rooms and showers help midday pugilists clean up their acts before heading back to the boardroom, and each Executive boxer can have their parking validated for $2.

Their groupon sucked. First you can't get in the building without a special code they don't mention on the groupon. When I finally got in the building they told me I should have my own gloves and wraps (also not mentioned on the groupon). They gave me gloves to use but no protective wraps so my wrist ached after the class. I found a boxing gym near my house that is much cheaper and up front with what you need.
