Choose from Three Options

  • $36 for two tickets to a wine-and-cheese pairing (an $80 value)
  • $20 for an introduction-to-wine class (a $40 value)
  • $35 for a one-month membership to the cheese-of-the-month club (a $70 value)

During the wine-and-cheese pairing, guests spend an evening sampling various wines and cheeses, and take home a Riedel wineglass with additional glasses for discounted purchase. Wine-and-cheese pairings are scheduled for March 13 and 27, April 3 and 17, and May 8 and 22. The introduction-to-wine class teaches participants about different types of wine, and includes samples of three varieties. Classes are scheduled for March 20, April 10 and 24, and May 1 and 15.

A one-month membership to the cheese-of-the-month club includes three 4- to 8-ounce gourmet selections, as well as notes on each cheese. The varieties will be a surprise, but past cheeses have included aged gouda from Holland, English stilton, and Italian parmegiano reggiano. Groupon customers must call ahead to set up pick-up, which will be the 15th of the month (depending upon when you signed up). If you need to defer your pick-up date, three days notice is required.

Form

Those who step into Form's crimson and brick interior find savory treats; the three owners, Brian Torres, Claude Auerbach, and Jimmy Kleinschmidt, familiarize patrons with 60 cheeses. Among them are Sweetgrass Dairy green hill, three-and-a-half year old Boerenkaas gouda, chevres with cloudlike white rinds, and Parmigianino Reggiano, all of which pair with charcuterie such as wild-boar sausage or prosciutto from the celebrated artisans at La Quercia.

More than 400 wines, including organic offerings, stand in glassy ranks, their colorful labels hinting at wisps of oak, sprays of fruit, and lacelike bubbles and more than 200 of these wines are under $20. Form also offers an exciting collection of gourmet foods to-go, which include hunter beef cattle meatloaf with a rosemary gravy, truffled salmon with coconut-curry mayo, and quinoa salad with roasted vegetables and balsamic vinaigrette.
