Helicopters are so beloved that they’ve earned countless nicknames, such as “choppers,” “harleys” (short for harley-copters), and “motor-cycles,” for the many cycling motors they contain. Be an easy glider with this Groupon.

HQ Aviation LLC
HQ Aviation LLC's founder Quentin Smith has circumnavigated the globe twice in a helicopter and flown to both the North and the South Poles. He survived ditching a helicopter in the South Atlantic. He even once narrowly escaped incarceration for flying his chopper into a foreign no-fly zone.
Needless to say, Q, as he's known, has a lot of experience with helicopter aviation. While most students won't need the expertise to fly their way out of international hijinks like he does, they can rest assured that the training they receive at his flying academy is top-notch. Operating out of Hangar 68 at Orlando Executive Airport, the school's fleet is made up of Robinson R22, R44, and R66 helicopters. Students enjoy full use of the whirlybirds as they work their way toward private-pilot licenses and instrument ratings, or simply relax and take in the views high above Orlando during a tour or discovery flight.
