It's a Grind Coffee House

Since its first shop opened in Long Beach, California in 1995, It's a Grind Coffee House has expanded to more than 35 locations both in the US and abroad. At each one, expert baristas grind and tamp beans, which are harvested from farms in Central and South America that are certified by the Rainforest Alliance, before incorporating them into handcrafted espresso drinks. Like its espressos, the coffeehouse's gourmet roasts—including sea-salt caramel and a winter-inspired blend of hazelnut and Irish cream—are roasted in small batches to maximize flavor and ensure consistency.

Alongside coffee, It's a Grind's other beverages range from loose-leaf teas to nonfat yogurt smoothies including the Peach Smash, which is named for the famous fruit-scented boxer. To complement its drinks, the café stocks an assortment of baked goods, savory pies, and paninis.
