Chase away non-fatal troubles with this deal for one ticket to Groupon Presents … Movie Night at Wrigley Field on Friday, July 6 (July 7, in the event of inclement weather). Doors open at 7 p.m. and the evening's movie, The Blues Brothers, begins at 8:30 p.m. The Blues Brothers is rated R and may not be appropriate for young children.

In celebration of Fourth of July weekend, Groupon and Wrigley Field distill Chicago to its pop-cultural essence with a screening of The Blues Brothers inside the Friendly Confines. Three 30-foot screens face the outfield from along the infield lip, broadcasting the calamitous path that Jake and Elwood's Bluesmobile carves through Chicago as the titular brothers carry out a "mission from God" to save the Catholic orphanage that raised them. John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd raise the black-suited characters to iconic levels as they run afoul of nuns, country-western singers, neo Nazis, and just about every state trooper in Illinois—all while Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown, and Cab Calloway punctuate the madcap odyssey with show-stopping musical numbers.

Bleachers present enviably elevated viewing, and outfield ticket holders can throw themselves grassy picnics by toting along blankets (lawn chairs, seat-backs, hard-sided coolers, and thermoses are not permitted), food, and nonalcoholic beverages. Neither seating option has assignments, and patrons can sit where they please on a first-come, first-served basis. VIP guests can duck into the Captain Morgan Club starting at 6:30 p.m. to munch on hors d'oeuvres while taking advantage of an open bar. Throughout the night, Wrigley's concession stands fuel the revelry and sing-alongs with snacks, as well as hot dogs and beer at prices discounted from game-day rates.

As show-goers file into the ballpark, they can pick up souvenir sunglasses that let them imitate Jake and Elwood and sing Sunglasses at Night without being called liars. At 8 p.m., patrons have a chance to carve their name into history, with Guinness World Records on hand to evaluate an attempt at setting the bar for most people wearing sunglasses in the dark.

A panoply of photo ops awaits as soon as the gates open, starting with the Wrigley Marquee—which will bear the quote, "We're on a mission from God"—and continuing with a lookalike contest for guests who show up in costume. Cardboard cutouts of Jake and Elwood enliven group snapshots while roving Jake and Elwood impersonators provide easy directions to the cardboard cutouts.
