Pottery experts lead approximately 10 to 14 students through a session in wheel-throwing, where they learn how to use a pottery wheel to create functional items such as vases and bowls. Students are not able to take their pieces home. Most wheel-throwing workshops take place on Saturday evenings. Check the schedule for class times.<p>
La Mano Pottery
A pottery studio whose name literally means “the hand” in Spanish, La Mano Pottery beckons its many students of all skill levels to find out what their hands can do when given balls of unformed clay. Inside the friendly confines, experienced ceramic instructors lead their charges toward expressing their own creativity within a large, well-lit space. The staff also runs an in-store gallery of recently shaped pieces.

“A good experience to discover your artistry. I found myself a remedial student at first, yet I persisted. As the class progressed, I feel like I, through persistence, learned something and ended up doing some really great first time creative work. The teacher was really helpful and patient.it was messy and fun! :-)”
“Love the class, the teacher was great!”
