Oh, Ashmont!

"Hello, friends, my name is Sir Steven Chutley. If that name sounds familiar, then you must have been a fan of the popular comedy show, Oh, Ashmont!, which aired on the BBC from 1977–1980—so named after my bumbling manservant Ashmont. What few people don't know is that the premise and many episodes of the show are based upon Ashmont and my various misadventures. Like the time Lady Thornthrope was attending Chutley Manor for the St. Stouffers Day Feast and Ashmont accidentally mixed up my Midnight's Toast with a rather saucy, erotic-styled letter I'd written to the good Lady Chutley. Or when I was going to give an exhibition of my new Rolls for the local vicar, until Ashmont defenestrated him while in the throes of a fever dream. And I believe there was a story involving the village meatsman that eludes me. Let's see here, I'll just get my diary. I believe it's here in my desk drawer. What's this? Wasps?! Oh, Ashmont!"
