Reel Kind Fishing
Reel Kind Fishing charters boats on which adventurers explore backwater wetlands, protected freshwater, and saltwater regions that are home to diverse marine life. Along with licensed and experienced captains, the company supplies rods, reels, tackle, and bait, ensuring that even novice fishers can participate. Tour-takers might nab snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, and tarpon, the four of which can be housed together in a jumbo aquarium for a fish reality show, as long as a sassy blowfish joins the mix. Each boat seats up to three people for half-days, three-quarter days, or full days, with the vessels heading either inshore or offshore near the Gulf of Mexico. Explorers might bring a hat, sunglasses, snacks, and jackets, according to the weather, and smocks depending on how neatly their co-tourists can eat.
So friendly, so accommodating, and so knowledgeable about the wildlife and nature we passed on the boat rides and about all of the shells we collectedKristen K, TripAdvisor, 10/2/12
We saw quite a few dolphin, including a baby, up close, on the way to the islands ... Collected so many gorgeous shells.jkalassian, TripAdvisor, 10/24/12

“Great afternoon of shelling! Our out-of-town kids and grandchildren loved it and we all learned a lot about the mangrove environment and the resident creatures. Take a bottle of water, sunscreen, bags for shells, and a camera. Wear a hat and sunglasses. Apply sunscreen before the trip so you don't have much to carry. We would do the trip again in a heart-beat. This time we did the short trip thinking the August heat would be too much but next time we'll do the longer excursion. The beach and surrounding areas are gorgeous! ”
“Don't worry about getting your feet wet! It's an awesome day and a magical time. Take your time and have patience and the treasures you will find are amazing!!!”
