During three-hour tours of New York's garment district, O’Brien escorts groups to designer showrooms—the hunting ground for magazine editors, stylists, and buyers for such stores as Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue—for exclusive sales on high-end clothing and luxury items such as python handbags and handmade jewelry.
