Choose from Three Options

  • $19 for one professional art class for one (a $40 value)
  • $69 for four professional art classes for one (a $160 value)
  • $129 for four professional art classes for two (a $320 value)

During approximately two-hour classes, one of The Artist Studio’s three instructors leads students toward artistic comprehension. They encourage pupils to find their own creative style as they advance from learning the basics of drawing and design to experimenting with color combinations during painting studies. Classes meet once a week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening classes are reserved for advanced students. The Artist Studio also offers a free introductory class by appointment every other Wednesday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., giving prospective students a glimpse into the regular art classes.

The Artist Studio

At The Artist Studio, a staff of three instructors knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the drawing table. Though they have 45 years of teaching experience between them, Christian Bradford, Claire Bradford, and Skip Lyons have also all spent years studying art and honing their own styles, such as photorealism, classic portraiture, and mixed media. The resident artists turn to their own individual expertise and personable approaches when teaching students, helping guide them toward their own artistic goals.

The Groupon Guide to: Displaying Your Varsity Letter

While earning a varsity letter in high-school athletics remains cool, wearing a letterman's jacket to display it isn't quite as cool. Here's how you can show off your athletic achievement without that jacket:

  • Instead of a letterman's jacket, start wearing a pair of letterman's jeans.

  • Turn your varsity letter into something practical that you must use often, such as a swatting device to fend off all the students who want to try to become your best friend.

  • At lunch, pull out a sandwich made of bread and your varsity letter. Then tell all the people you're sitting near: "Not again, you guys. My mom keeps making me a 'reminder of my physical gifts on rye.'"

  • Do that magic trick where you seemingly disappear into a cloud of smoke and, when the smoke clears, all that's left is your varsity letter. That way people will probably carry that letter around school thinking it's you until the end of time.

  • Sew it directly onto your body. If there's ever a time to try sewing something onto your skin, it's when you're young and popular enough to get a nice ceremony should something go horribly wrong.

Hunky guys, you can appear even hunkier in public by combing your hair with your varsity letter.
