Indianapolis Museums

Anyone looking for things to do in Indianapolis that entertain and enlighten the whole family would do well to check out some celebrated Indianapolis museums. At the head of this pack is the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis—one of the largest children’s museums in the world—where kids and parents alike can explore more than 470,000 square feet of interactive science experiments, cultural exhibits, and even archaeological digs. The Indianapolis Museum of Art, on the other hand, focuses on fine art from a wide range of periods and cultures, and includes the original rendition of Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE sculpture on its grounds. At the Indianapolis Zoo, meanwhile, guests get up close to wildlife from ocean, desert, and jungle habitats from around the world, or tour the park on the White River Junction Train.
