A wedding is a treasure trove of memories: the first kiss between newlyweds, the toss of the bouquet, the moment when the groom jumps out of the wedding cake. Since 1981, Moonlight Video Productions' videographers have stood silently in the background of these events, video camera in hand, to capture each priceless moment. From weddings to bar mitzvahs, they shoot special events with professional quality—multiple cameras, wireless microphones, and the option to replace distant uncles with a wisecrackin' CGI uncle. Afterward, they create DVDs with custom menus and special effects. When not shooting video, the technicians can be found in the lab restoring photos and transferring old VHS tapes to DVD.
Natural light is what gives Pretty Lil' Prints' portfolio its distinctive look, from the halo of sunlight captured in a girl's hair to the deepening shadows on the sphinx replica in Las Vegas. The studio's pictures straddle the line between naturalistic and modern, whether shot in a hollow of a rock outcropping or beneath a city skyline. Each photo includes a retouching service, which ensures that shots return free of blemishes and would-be photo bombers.
Armed with a camera and plenty of photo retouching expertise, photographer Maria Shamsa creates professional headshots as well as treasured family heirlooms. She snaps shots on location to capture images using natural light and scenic backdrops, and she artfully edits images after shoots, erasing red eyes and other flaws before injecting them on CDs.
