Training camp is generally a time for athletes to gear up and get in shape before heading into a big season. But at The Training Camp MMA and Fitness, every day is part of training camp. The instructors here think of fitness as an ongoing challenge, and they prepare their students with workouts that boost strength, energy, and even self-defense skills. Their martial-arts programs include kickboxing, muay thai, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, each of which offers its own self-defense techniques to master. That's not to say that you're expected to become a master right away; in fact, The Training Camp specializes in classes for total beginners and even kids.
