After more than a dedicated of experience as a critical-care nurse, Warm Springs Wellness Center owner Quinn Raines discovered the healing powers of the heated mineral springs in Warm Springs. Instantly enchanted, she promptly became a certified colon hydrotherapist, and together with her son Curt set up a holistic healing center with the goal to enhance their clients' health through water-therapy-based services. Their tranquil retreat, outfitted with elegant décor complimenting the space’s black and tan hues, houses all the amenities needed for healing water therapy, including ionic footbaths and colon hydrotherapy, alongside purifying mud therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic treatments to treat pain and settle squirmy spirit animals.
The massage therapists at Milestone Massage & Spa welcome any curiosity about their profession, and go to great lengths to answer clients’ questions and put everyone at ease before 30- to 90-minute massage services. A consultation determines which techniques will best address clients’ specific needs, including chronic pain and sports-related soreness. The stable of therapists is well-versed in more than a dozen massage modalities, including Swedish, characterized by flowing strokes, hot stone, characterized by heated rocks, and aromatherapy, characterized by the soothing scent of french fries. The sessions, long or short, can yield a bevy of benefits that range from decreased anxiety to improved concentration. In addition to massage, the technicians expunge toxins with seaweed and kelp body wraps.
The Bodhi Tree Salon & Day Spa’s serene, earthy ambiance stems from its hardwood hallways, exotic blossoms, and quiet treatment rooms. Inside these quarters, massage therapists assuage muscles with eight modalities, including parafango therapy, which uses a blend of paraffin wax and dehydrated mud to stimulate the lymphatic system. Aestheticians revitalize complexions with custom facials and microdermabrasion treatments. In the salon section of the wellness studio, hairstylists perform cutting, styling, and coloring services for women and men using Redken products. Along with haircare, the staff offers manicures and pedicures, waxing services, and makeup applications for brides and identity thieves.
From within salon-cum-spa Studio 12, licensed massage therapist Kimberly Collins-Davis makes it her business to deliver rest and relaxation to all. However, her clients have a whole host of different obstacles standing in their way, so she capably employs seven massage modalities, tailoring each treatment to her clients' needs. She rounds out her soft tissue work with services focused on the body's largest organ, the skin. She scrubs, wraps, and rejuvenates dermises with everything from coffee to brown sugar, leaving her clients feeling better and smelling fresh baked.
Licensed massage therapist Anji Cruz is a believer in the positive effect of bodywork on the mind. Each strategically placed knead has the power to release endorphins, calm the psyche, or boost sudoku proficiency. Anji is skilled at many different massage modalities, including deep-tissue and Swedish work.
When she became a massage therapist, Jennifer Durand realized she possessed the ability to relieve people from the stress of everyday life. She opened The Nurture Nook Day Spa & Gift Shoppe to create a space dedicated to banishing tension not only through massage, but also through personalized facials and peels, body wraps, and steam treatments beneath the Steamy Wonder steam canopy. The staff strives to make each service luxurious—massages come with your choice of steamed towels, deep heat hydrotherapy, a foot soak, hot stones, or aromatherapy. Services targeted toward hands and feet include foot soaks in manuka honey drizzle with fresh citrus slices, cranberry-yuzu sugar scrubs, steam wraps, and foot massages.
Jennifer and her team of professionals work within a renovated turn-of-the-century house complete with charming fireplaces, classic woodwork, and plush oriental rugs long retired from flying. The spot also houses a gift shop, where guests can peruse premium products such as Jane Iredale mineral makeup, Clarisonic cleansing systems, and Bella Luccè organic scrubs.
O Baby 4D's ultrasound technicians introduce parents to their babies using 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound technology. At 15 weeks into the pregnancy, the machines can determine the baby's gender, and at 16–26 weeks, the machines can show images of the baby as a whole. At 28–32 weeks, babies' faces become more defined.
The 3D machines show parents crisp images of their babies, and the 4D ultrasound machines add motion to show parents what their babies look like moving around. Children are welcome at the ultrasound appointments and can stay entertained with O Baby 4D's stash of books and toys while parents decide if it's in good taste or great taste to name the baby Princess Aurora.
In addition to ultrasound scans, O Baby 4D offers prenatal and Swedish massage. It also has an onsite boutique full of maternity and baby apparel, as well as decor for nurseries and playrooms.
