The goal of every KidsTown Drop-In Child Care Center is to provide quality, licensed care to children, so they may have a safe and secure place to visit that's also fun, exciting, and entertaining. KidsTowns offers a flexible preschool schedule and curriculum, qualified staff tailors each day's lessons to those in attendance to create a more flexible preschool program. Here, children have the opportunity to learn new skills, play with different toys, participate in group games, create art projects, and interact socially with other children. Activities are scheduled throughout the day to encourage learning in new areas, while also providing social, physical, and cognitive development opportunities.
Another consistency is that each facility allows parents to drop off kids ages 1-13, whenever is most convenient to give parents an opportunity to select a weekly schedule that works best for their family. To further accommodate parents, some centers offer themed Saturday-evening sessions that keep children entertained at night, so adults may get away.
Cruising through the lush valleys or snowy fields of the Pike National Forest, adventurers speed through their surroundings atop rented vehicles from Adventure ATV & Rec Rentals. Four-wheelers, dirt bikes, and even scooters can all be rented for up to 24 hours. All rentals include a full tank of gas, a DOT-approved helmet, and insurance. In addition, staffers can meet clients at alternative trailheads for a nominal fee and a bag of granola.
In 2001, Carrie Rezabek Dorr's only venue for her Pure Barre workouts—a full-body workout that uses the ballet barre to assist clients as they perform small isometric movements and muscle-lengthening stretches—was the basement of an office building. Crowds drawn by Carrie's choreographing expertise and the infectious music of her routines necessitated expansion, however, and Pure Barre soon spread its franchises across the country, spurred by mentions in Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Health magazines.
Pure Barre guides clients through precise isometric movements that craft lean, not bulky, muscles. The workouts use small movements to sculpt muscle, as well as lift and tighten traditional problem areas such as the thighs, abs, seat, and arms. The workout is accessible to all fitness levels, and can help new mothers to regain their desired shape without leading the daycare's piggyback carpool. Intimate classes with a limit of 25 clients to ensure personalized adjustments and tips, allowing each guest to derive the deepest possible burn from the workout's alternating strength and stretch drills.
