Chahinkapa Zoo, Wahpeton

Chahinkapa Zoo's mission is conservation. Dedicated staff at the zoo does everything to help save animals and promote education about the wildlife. They offer quality care for the animals, and the zoo also serves as a wildlife rehabilitation center. The zoo is a home to over 200 animals, where visitors can watch over 70 species in a safe and natural habitat for each of them. The zoo also presents fascinating collection showing native North Dakota wildlife, as well as animals from around the world, including endangered species.
