Terri Holm at Aqua Salon and Spa, Alamo

After working under platform artists for Redken and Paul Mitchell, master cosmetologist Carlos Flores opened Aqua Salon and Day Spa, a Paul Mitchell focus salon that emphasizes continuing education and training for its styling team. During services, the team unholsters premium products such as Aquage and Mitch, a Paul Mitchell line developed especially for men. Because the spa regularly styles both ladies and gents, the decor is neutral and posh, like the Supreme Court’s dressing room. Dramatic plants sprout from vases scattered around the spa, and suede seats and a cowhide rug decorate the lobby.
