Turquoise Museum, Albuquerque

The Turquoise Museum tells the story of the turquoise mineral with a collection that features specimens harvested from more than 80 mines. The mesmerizing blue-green rocks alone would be worth a visit, but they accompany exhibits that delve into mining, jewelry, and the historical figures who first sought out turquoise and transformed it into a commodity.
