Vibe Salon and Spa, Algonquin

The nail tech was extremely rude to her coworkers (at one point loudly proclaiming to another employee that "'so-and-so' is good for nothing today!") and from the moment we walked in the door she had an attitude that basically said she didn't want to be there and certainly didn't want to be doing our nails. In between nails she would stop to check her phone and text which I also thought was inappropriate. On top of the attitude, she was inconsistent in her work. She only put lotion on one of us, and completely disregarded what my friend asked for when she said she did not want her nails cut by pulling out the clippers and cutting them all down. For my nails she actually filed the sides after putting on and curing the top coat of my gel polish manicure. Overall, we were both uncomfortable being there and were it not for having paid for the Groupon already, we would not have stayed. Also, there was only one nail tech, and it is a hair salon, not a "spa" as the name suggests.
