People weren’t the friendliest. No suggestions or pointers for 1st timers. The skate shoes old and full of dog hair. I wouldn’t return.

This is a great place, and while ten bucks a person is a little high, when you use the Groupon it's less than half that, and totally worth it. The staff is nice, the rink is BIG, and other than it being a little overcrowded, my only problem is that sometimes the skates you get are a tossup. I've had them give me horrendous skates with ragged shoestrings that were terribly uncomfortable, which I exchanged for others, but wish I'd turned them in earlier. They STUNK like death. Like awful, rank feet that hadn't been washed in weeks. The person who was behind the counter told me that it’s possible they had missed spraying it with Lysol. Which concerns me a bit, since that can spread athletes foot and other fungi. But most of the time, they give you shoes that are clean and in good condition, and I think that was just an anomaly. I did return some today before I tried them on because the strings were in terrible shape, but they didn’t have any problem finding me another set..

My kids had a blast. The ice was pretty rough but lots of people there! We had a good time!

Staff was good. Wish they had something for toddlers and beginners to hold on to while learning to glide and skate.
