About West Deer Nightmare

During the month of October, spooks take over Bairdford Park, and visitors who go into the West Deer Nightmare may never come out again. That's because they encounter terrifying sights within these creaky halls and darkened passages, where a team of fright actors recreate the 1952 West Deer massacre, including an appearance by serial killer Noah Hobbs. Visitors can explore the darkest part of their psyches, with their only comfort the knowledge that proceeds from the haunted house go to an anti-bullying nonprofit, Don't Be a Monster.

I attend over 12 haunts a year and this one scored the lowest. Mostly juvenile actors with no real variety or diverse scares. Although the price is very affordable don't expect much bang or scare for your buck. Location is also way off the beaten path if you are not familiar with the area.

We waited 30 min in a line that had no more than ten people in front of us pretty sad if you ask me. Then the inside was very very dark,you couldn't really see any of the actors or props.
