The meals were almost inedible. The best thing was the glass of water. At least you can't ruin that! The meals were visually unappealing and tasted even worse than they looked. The chicken parmesan was almost unrecognizable and didn't even taste like chicken. The small flap of breading just slid off the chicken piece. The other meal of Baked Ziti bore no resemblance to what one would expect. The color was a pale brown/gray and honestly looked like vomit. It was filled with mystery pieces other than ziti that I didn't want to risk eating. We left most of both meals on the plates. I hate to waste food but there was no way to eat these meals. How are they still open?

We will definately go back. Also, my office is right across the street...I go there very infrequently, however if I ever need catering for an event, I will certainly reach out to these folks.

Food tasted like frozen food cooked in a microwave. They tank up there with fast food joints which we do NOT frequent. Sorry Artuzzi's, you're off our list.

The food was really good and servers were attentive. My only suggestion: this is the South, lemon should always be offered with iced tea.

food was good but somewhat overpriced for quality, quantity, and environment compared to other Italian restaurants in the local area. the changed to full service from "order-pay-sit-wait" format sinee I last visited. waitress kept asking to fill drinks or clear stuff - just do it & dont bother us so much, we were there to eat and relate with each other not the waitress.

From Our Editors

Dave Pazienza first donned a toque in the kitchen of his father's restaurant where he learned family recipes from his fellow Italian chefs. He emerged from that experience eager to share those culinary traditions with as many people as possible, which he does from behind the counter at Artuzzi's Italian Kitchen. Tables gaze directly into the open kitchen, allowing guests to watch as cooks reduce steaming pots of wine, cream, and spices or whittle each individual strand of pasta. Extra-virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, and eight signature sauces invigorate the platefuls of freshly cut linguini or imported, whole-wheat penne.

From the pizza oven, scents hint at more than 20 toppings including granny smith apples, gorgonzola cheese, capers, and herb-roasted chicken. The dining room's pastel yellow and orange walls mirror the warmth of the oven beneath vintage-inspired paintings of pasta and wicker-wrapped chianti bottles.
