About Salon BKB

Belinda K. Baker, CEO of Salon BKB, is an ethnic-haircare guru. She’s the Wig and Weave expert on TBS’s Movie and a Makeover, and she’s trained tens of thousands of stylists across North America and Europe. Her technique begins with a complimentary consultation that, like speed dating a wig, covers everything from the strands’ elasticity to the client’s lifestyle and commitment level. When stylists settle on a look that works for their clients, they use Pravana and Pureology products to enhance razor cuts, lock and twists, and relaxed styles.

Great service for my daughter who has natural hair. I loved that time was taken to explain to her how to care for her for her hair.

I redeemed my voucher with Belinda. She is a very personable stylist. She addressed my concerns and explained what she doing plus how to care for my hair at night. Even though my appointment was with Belinda the other stylist and helpers were also friendly and professional.

Four days later and I’m fuming about the $42 I paid for a simple trim. I believe this was an attempt to recoup the difference between the owners desired rate and the Groupon. Everyone I tell is appalled. Instead of feeling good about the seemingly smiling, friendly service, I’ve become a detractor and feel as if I’ve been had.
