About 6th Street Massacre

Located on notoriously twisted Route 66, a derelict movie theater has become the stomping grounds of the McKill family—a criminally insane brood with a predilection for torture and murder. The site is filled with horrific vignettes: piles of human skulls, walls stained with gory handprints, and funerals attended by the dead.

Down the theater's dilapidated halls specters stalk interlopers, awaiting the right moment to jump out and shock—but never touch—their prey. The location has appeared on the Biography Channel’s My Ghost Story, where numerous suspected apparitions were caught in the act.

Had a great time, was so much fun. Can't wait to go back next year now.

The haunted house is decent, but the attitude of the owner and the workers is less than desirable. The owner talks bad about other haunted houses and businesses and spray painted on their wall not to go to the business next door because they towed a car that wasn't using their establishment. They have emailed me saying derogatory things about another haunted house's owner, and they are very childish. I didn't go last year because of this, and I wouldn't have gone this year because of the spray painting, but I had already bought the groupon. This is no way to run a business. There's no excuse for this juvenile behavior. I will most likely continue with my non-patronage next year.

The space was not marked for direction and "actors" had to continually tell us where to go. One member of our party had her hand slammed in a metal crate door by an actor and ended up with a small cut and a bruised finger. There are several spaces with steps that are unmarked and members of our party were tripping and ended up twisting knees/ankles. The actors continually broke character and were observed talking to each other. We had two small scares-but overall it was not thrilling. We loved the outdoor space but feel it could have been better used-no scares there. We enjoyed the slanted room, the sliding floor tiles and the crawl spaces.

Love the haunted house. Was a little disappointed in the staff making fun of my daughter for wearing the vest.
