Hi Olivia, I’m so sorry for the frustration — truly. Tattoo removal with the PicoSure laser is extremely expensive to operate, and that’s exactly why the Groupon deal only covers a very small trial area (up to 4 square inches). Once the area is larger than what Groupon includes, the system automatically adjusts to regular pricing, which is always discussed before any treatment is started. No one is ever charged without agreeing first. We do not mark vouchers as redeemed unless a client checks in at the office, and the reason we offer such a small area on Groupon is so people can try the technology at a discount before committing to larger, more advanced removal sessions. I completely understand your frustration if your tattoo was just slightly bigger than the Groupon size — that’s why our team measures and reviews everything upfront so clients can choose whether they’d like to continue or not. For Venus Freeze on the chin and jowls, the actual treatment portion is much shorter than areas like the abdomen or thighs. The appointment time includes the intake process, forms, photos, consultation, and preparation, which is why the overall service window is listed as 50–60 minutes. The face and neck simply don’t require that amount of treatment time for the device to be effective. We absolutely don’t shorten services because someone used a Groupon — every client receives the same care, attention, and treatment protocol. I’m sorry if this wasn’t clearly explained during your visit; that’s on us, and we will make sure our team communicates this better going forward.
